Dario Zulich- Owner and Governor
Dario Zulich is a graduate from the University of Western Ontario (Richard Ivey School of Business) holding an Honours Degree in Business Administration. He returned to Sudbury to lead his family business as General Manager of Zulich Enterprises, one of the largest real estate and developers in Northeastern Ontario. For almost 20 years, he continues to be the CEO of TESC Contracting, one of Ontario’s largest industrial contracting businesses.
In recent years, he acquired three incredible sports teams: The Sudbury Wolves Hockey Club, Sudbury Spartans Football Club and the Sudbury Five Basketball Team under SWSE (SW Sports & Entertainment Inc.). SWSE hosts over 75 sports and entertainment events per year. These teams and events have attracted new tourists to the region and have expanded the growth opportunities for employment.
He has a vision to create the Kingsway Entertainment District (KED), an innovative world class Sports & Entertainment Centre for the north. With its partnerships it will provide economic growth, workforce development, investment attraction and tourism for the City of Greater Sudbury and across Northeastern Ontario.
He also acquired the Sudbury Peace Tower (Water Tower) and has plans to revitalize this historical landmark at the centre of our city and restore it as one of Sudbury’s iconic symbols for photographers and tourists.
Over the years, he served as a member on various boards within the City of Greater Sudbury including: The United Way Centraide, Sudbury & District Chamber of Commerce, Laurentian University’s Next 50 Campaign and was the Chair of the YMCA Building Committee for the Centre for Life. He is also the Co-Founder of the Wolves United organization, a partnership to raise support and funding for Youth Mental Health.

Scott Lund- Chief Executive Officer
Scott Lund has been the CEO of the SWSE and the Sudbury Wolves since June of 2017 and is responsible for the direction of all operations related to SWSE, including the Wolves, the new NBL Canada franchise, the Sudbury Five, Sudbury Spartans Football, catering services and the live events. Formerly, VP and GM at CTV Northern Ontario, located in Sudbury he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of CTV Northern Ontario which has offices in North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Timmins and Sudbury.
Scott was previously the Chair of Greater Sudbury Development Corporation, Chair of Science North and Chair of Cinefest. He is currently the chair of the board for the NBL Canada.
Bob Johnston– Vice President, Basketball Operations
Bob is an accomplished manager and senior management leader whose 30+ years in management and development will lend the Sudbury FIVE well in their preparation and inaugural season launch. Bob combines a strong work ethic with a disciplined and loyal commitment to the organizational goals set forth. Bob originally hails from Eastern Canada but has called Greater Sudbury home since graduating from engineering at the Technical University of Nova Scotia. Along with his wife Colleen, Bob has raised 6 high achieving children in our community.

Logan Stutz- General Manager & Head Coach
Logan Stutz was named the team’s inaugural General Manager and Head Coach on August 9, 2018. Stutz has played professional basketball for eight seasons and will take the leadership role both on and off the court following his retirement from the NBL Canada in 2018. His last player role was as the captain of the 2017-18 Windsor Express who lost in the Central Division semi-finals to the St. John’s Edge last April. Stutz was named the NBL Canada MVP in 2015-16 and captained his last two teams, the Niagara River Lions and Express over the past three seasons. He has coached at various academy levels throughout his career which has taken he and his young family from his roots in Kansas City, Missouri throughout the United States, Asia, Europe and Canada before finishing his playing career for the 3D Global Sports Canada where he won a Gold Medal.
Elliott Etherington- Associate Coach
Elliott Etherington has joined the team as Associate Coach on August 1, 2019. The hardworking and determined 25-year-old Chippawa native, is no stranger to the National Basketball League of Canada. Elliott, having previously spent 4 years coaching in the NBL Canada, he brings his enriched experience to Sudbury. Most recently, he spent the last 2 years with the London Lightning as the Associate Coach & Interim Head Coach where he helped them to two successful seasons including a NBLC Championship. Prior to his time in London, he was also the Assistant Coach for the Niagara River Lions during the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 seasons. Elliott is no stranger to Head Coach Logan Stutz as he was one of Logan’s coaches during the 2015-2016 season in which Logan the NBLC MVP. “Elliott is a hard working, assertive and determined individual who puts the needs of the team first,” said Sudbury Five Head Coach and General Manager Logan Stutz. Elliott has been described as both collaborative and a players’ coach.
Denis Gauthier – Assistant Coach
Miranda Swain-Boivin* – Marketing Manager (Maternity Leave)*
Miranda joined the Sudbury Wolves in September of 2008 as a game night volunteer while attending Laurentian University’s Sports Administration program. From that point on, she never looked back. Upon graduation in 2012, with her BComm complete, she took on increasing roles through-out all areas of Wolves Hockey beginning with a full time role as the Group Sales & Marketing Coordinator. Not long after, Miranda took over the duties as Office Manager and Ticket coordinator. In December of 2018, Miranda was promoted to Marketing Manager of Sudbury Wolves Sports & Entertainment, overseeing the management of the Sudbury Wolves, Sudbury Five, and Sudbury Spartans brands.
