(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Five are happy to announce that they have partnered with the YMCA to host a Coaches Clinic for those looking to enrich their basketball coaching knowledge and skills. The clinic is a division of the Five Basketball Academy powered by Panoramic Properties which will take place on Saturday October 17th. The clinic will break down practice and game preparation as well as cover vital areas in the game of basketball such as transition, offense, and defenseTwo clinic sessions will be held; one for beginner basketball for parents and youth coaches that are new to coaching, and one for advanced basketball for experienced youth and high school coaches. Participants will learn from Sudbury Five Head Coach Logan Stutz and guest coaches.  

“I have had a great time training young athletes in Sudbury and now having the chance to inspire parents and coaches in Sudbury is really something special,” said Stutz. My goal is to keep on building and expanding the growth of basketball in Sudbury and I can’t wait to share my experiences and knowledge to parents and coaches. 

The Beginner clinic will run from 11am-1pm and the Advanced clinic will run from 1:30pm-4pmThe Sudbury Five and YMCA will be following all Public Health regulations including increased sanitization, temperature checks and screenings. The cost to register is $75 + HST per participant for the Beginner session and $85 + HST per participant for the Advanced session.
