(SUDBURY, ON) The Sudbury Five have announced that the club has traded the rights to forward Sam Muldrow to the Cape Breton Highlanders for future considerations.

The Five originally sent the rights to Sam Muldrow over to the Magic in a deal that brought in forward Walt Pitchford on October 17th, 2018. In early January, the Five re-acquired Muldrow from Magic in exchange for the rights to Dwayne Smith.

The 30-year-old power forward from Florence, South Carolina last played in the National Basketball League of Canada with the Niagara River Lions.

The future considerations of the deal will be announced at the conclusion of the 2018-19 NBL Canada season.

The Five begin a three game road trip tonight as they take on the Windsor Express. The Five will travel to London for an evening contest on Sunday, before a Family Day matinee game against the KW Titans on Monday. Fans can watch all three games online on NBLC Live at www.nblclive.ca.
