Bob Johnston – VP Basketball Operations
Bob is an accomplished manager and senior management leader whose 30+ years in management and development will lend the Sudbury FIVE well in their preparation and inaugural season launch. Bob combines a strong work ethic with a disciplined and loyal commitment to the organizational goals set forth. Bob originally hails from Eastern Canada but has called Greater Sudbury home since graduating from engineering at the Technical University of Nova Scotia. Along with his wife Colleen, Bob has raised 6 high achieving children in our community.

Logan Stutz – General Manager & Head Coach
Logan Stutz was named the team’s inaugural General Manager and Head Coach on August 9, 2018. Stutz has played professional basketball for eight season and will take the leadership role both on and off the court following his retirement from the NBL Canada in 2018. His last player role was as the captain of the 2017-18 Windsor Express who lost in the Central Division semi-finals to the St. John’s Edge last April. Stutz was named the NBL Canada MVP in 2015-16 and captained his last two teams, the Niagara River Lions and Express over the past three seasons. He has coached at various academy levels throughout his career which has taken he and his young family from his roots in Kansas City, Missouri throughout the United States, Asia, Europe and Canada before finishing his playing career for the 3D Global Sports Canada where he won a Gold Medal.
Kyle Beers – Associate Head Coach
Kyle Beers is a life long resident of Northern Ontario who has been involved with basketball in the North for over 25 years as both a player and coach. Kyle has combined his formal education, career experience, basketball IQ and his access to amazing coaching as a player to form his unique and winning coaching philosophies. Founder of the Northern Lights Basketball Academy, Kyle is looking forward to the Five’s inaugural season on the court, and to the resulting growth of basketball in Northern Ontario.
Roberto Bagnato – Account Executive & Marketing Coordinator
Roberto Bagnato, born and raised in Sudbury, joins The Five team after a year with the Pittsburgh Penguins in their Youth Hockey Department. A graduate of the Sports Administration program at Laurentian University, Roberto enters his eight season with Sudbury Wolves and SW Sports & Entertainment now and is excited to be launching The Five. He’s eager for the new challenge and can’t wait to bring professional basketball to the 705 and Northeastern Ontario.

Jennifer McGillivray – Account Executive
Jen McGillivray was born in Elliot Lake and loves bringing new experiences to Northern Ontario. After spending years working in arts management, including three seasons as the Executive Director of the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra, she’s thrilled to be able to join the SWSE team and contribute to the launch of The Sudbury Five.

Alanna LaHay – Community Outreach and Game Day Coordinator
Alanna LaHay is originally from Victoria Harbour, Ontario, and joins The Sudbury Five team with vast experience in Fan Engagement, and Game Day Operations in her previous role as President of the Cambrian Athletic Association. A graduate from Physical Fitness Management at Cambrian College, she is thrilled to bring forward her experiences and knowledge to The Sudbury Five
